The New Abnormal 2.0


The New Abnormal 2.0 explores the interconnectedness of global environmental crises. The series contrasts the 2022 floods in Pakistan, which surrounded Haque’s family home, with wildfire smoke in Portland caused by nearby fires. Using photo-collage, painting, and projected video, the work examines survival, beauty, and hope amidst devastation, highlighting the interlinked local and worldwide environmental challenges.
